Mental Health First Aid Training

Join our mission to equip individuals with the knowledge and skills to support those experiencing mental health and emotional challenges. Talkable Communities, in partnership with the City of Jacksonville, is thrilled to offer Duval County residents Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) courses—normally priced at $150 per person—completely free of charge.

What is Mental Health First Aid?

Mental Health First Aid is an internationally recognized program that teaches you how to identify, understand, and respond to signs of mental health challenges. This training provides the skills needed to offer initial help and support to someone  who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem or experiencing a crisis.
