BIOGRAPHY
Irene Toto holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Flagler College and a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova University. She is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has spent the majority of her career in the Northeast Florida nonprofit community. Irene completed a certificate in Non Profit Management from Rollins College in 2009, was selected as the Celebrate Clay 2012 Extraordinary Executive Director and received the Exchange Club Lifetime Achievement Award for service in the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect in 2018. Toto began working with CBHC in 1994 and has served as CEO since 2005. She has worked with her team and community partners to develop a collaborative, integrated system of care that works for adults, children, and families.
Toto believes that having access to quality behavioral health services including prevention and early intervention is necessary to build a healthier community, one life at a time. She attributes CBHC’s success to a culture that emphasizes treating people with dignity and respect and recognizes that there is no health without mental health.
